St. Petka’s Church is situated at the exit of Veles, in the southern direction, on the right side of the road to Gevgelija. At the beginning, it was only a chapel, but in the last decade of the previous century it was rearranged and enlarged in a form of a small church. There is no evidence on when exactly the chapel has been built. The interior of the little church is particularly impressive, where there is a natural spring, which, according to the beliefs of the citizens of Veles, has curative power.
